One of the best ways we grow as a community is through local, regional, and national conferences that we attend throughout the year. The hope of these conferences and projects is for us to continue growing in our spiritual journeys as a community, as well as have fun together as a family. Below you will find an introduction to some of the various conferences that we attend yearly! |

Join us October 18th-20th at El Calvario City Chruch in Orlando for Meta Student Conference. META is InterVarsity’s annual state-wide student conference in Florida. The speakers and seminars will challenge your faith and better equip you to build the kingdom of God on your campus. Join hundreds of other students from around the state as we worship, learn, and grow in love for God, God’s word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes in the world.

VOICE OF LEGACY
Black Student Conference |
Join us November 18th-20th for the Voice of Legacy Conference. Historically, the black voice in America has been a powerful force of good. With a poetic analysis of the civil rights movement, we see the black voice calling a whole nation to repentance; politically, socially, and spiritually. This was not the start of the black voice. It has always been a strong sound in the world, its sound usually growing from grassroots movements. What does that voice sound like today? What is its value? What is the power of the diversity in the black community? And what does black Christian action look like when we find unity in our diversity?
The answer to this is in the narrative of God and how He has uniquely used the black voice throughout history to shape culture and usher in systemic change. Voice of Legacy will remove barriers that muffle the voice of black leaders and potential leaders, clarify the depth and strength of our diverse black community while creating urgency for black leaders to engage in leadership and christian action in response to injustice. |

WJEF Conference
Native Student Conference |
Join us for WJEF (Would Jesus Eat Frybread) Conference in Phoenix, Arizona Nov 8th-11th. Join other Native students, faculty and their communities in this spiritual enriching event! It’s a time to enjoy and laugh with one another while we seek what it means to be in harmony with others and Creator.
Come be with old and new friends, listen to elders and others who witnessed Creator at work on their campus or communities! We’ll have meals together, have time to see and enjoy the area and most importantly we’ll leave with full bellies and happy hearts! |

FOCUS WEEK

Join us for Focus Week after school gets out in May! Focus Week is a chance to get away with students from campuses all over Florida and engage topics of faith, missional living, leadership and God’s work in the world. Unplug from a hectic semester and discover Jesus in new ways through daily track time, free afternoons to hang with friends, play sports or nap in a hammock and evening sessions where you can engage in worship and be challenged through scripture.
Whether you are just checking out Jesus, learning what it means to follow him, feeling called to step out in leadership, or are ready to become a revolutionary on campus, Focus Week offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to go deeper in your faith, be equipped to lead and be empowered to serve your campus. I can’t think of a better way to start your summer! |

Whether it's spring break or summer, there is always a major program going on; from global programs to local 6-week city treks learning to love and serve the poor. We always have a chance to continue growing and following Jesus in a deeper way after school ends!
